Warm weather from Spring through the Fall allows for an incredible variety of outdoor pursuits.

Hiking and cycling trails wind through desert terrain and rolling hills and alongside the fresh water lakes, rivers and streams. One of the most famous cycling or hiking routes is the Kettle Valley Railway Trail. The tracks have been removed and the old route renovated to provide a specular natural experience. The Kettle Valley Railway Trail is a national historic landmark.

Winter in the Okanagan offers a wide variety of outdoor activities. It's cool enough to give beautiful snow, but not so cold you don't want to go out and enjoy it. You choice winter activities include skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, dog sledding, snowmobiling, skating, ice fishing and horse-drawn sleigh rides.

Kelowna has grown up a lot in the last couple of decades, and has developed sophistication in the Arts and in Dining. Perhaps after a day's play outside, you'll want to enjoy some of the region's wide variety of cuisine.
