Quails’ Gate Winery
The Stewart family began farming in the Okanagan Valley in 1908, and helped the valley transition from growing tree fruits to grapes and wine. In 1956 they purchased the estate at Quails’ Gate, and this year they are celebrating 25 years of winemaking. Quails Gate believe that they have reached this significant milestone because their family has always been passionate about the potential of the land and uncompromising about the quality of their wines.
Mission Hill Winery
This beautiful lake-view winery welcomes wine lovers throughout the year for Sommelier-led tours and tastings. In addition to learning about the history of the Okanagan Valley, guests explore the winery's underground barrel cellars and art collection before stopping by the tasting salons to sample the award-winning wines that have made Mission Hill Winery one of the finest in the Okanagan Valley.
West Kelowna Yacht Club
This private club on the west side of Okanagan Lake provides a safe, protected harbour for vessels of just about any size. The clubhouse offers venues for meetings, weddings and special events of up to 149 guests.
Ideal for bikers, rollerbladers, joggers and walkers, this nearly three-kilometer scenic trail winds its way through Waterfront Park, Stuart Park and City Park.
Gellatly Nut Farm Regional Park
This four-hectare working nut farm offers everything from recreational, archaeological, and educational exhibits to nut picking. Stroll the scenic pathways, take a self-guided tour of the nut orchard, or explore the beach and waterfront. If you’re visiting in the fall, don’t miss September’s Fall Harvest Fair and the Spooktacular Halloween Pumpkin Walk each October.
Telemark Nordic Club
This 2,500-acre sports facility is dedicated to fostering and promoting the sport of cross-country skiing and other Nordic winter sports. In addition to over 50 kilometers of groomed trails for both classic and skate cross-country skiing, 4.3 kilometers of lighted trails, a biathlon range, and 62 kilometers of snowshoe trails, Telemark offers a modern chalet with heated washrooms and snack bar.
Westside Farm Loop
There’s no better way to experience the Okanagan than by taking a drive along this rural route dotted with small family farms, nurseries, wineries and nut orchards. Pluck nuts, fruits and berries right from the trees, fill your bag with eggs, fresh honey and organic produce or treat yourself to a day of wine tasting.
Two Eagles Golf Course
Enjoy outstanding views of the Okanagan Valley on this course located high above the shores of Okanagan Lake. The lush fairways of this classic Les Furber-designed championship course showcase a gently sloping landscape that offers a wonderful challenge for golfers of all skill levels.
Shannon Lake Golf Course
Tucked among towering pine forests on the shores of Shannon Lake, the Shannon Lake Golf Course is the only full-length golf course in West Kelowna. Amenities include a golf shop, a beautiful new clubhouse and the Courses Restaurant for après golf dining and cocktails.
