BOATING
Okanagan Lake is approximately 120 km (75 miles) long. It is perfect for many types of boating. You can enjoy sailing, power boating, canoeing or kayaking.
And Lake Okanagan is only one of many lakes in the areas. Shuswap Lake, a little to the north, is as large as Lake Okanagan. Other large lakes include Osoyoos, Vaseaux, Skaha, Duck Lake, Wood, and Swan. And in the surrounding mountains you'll find numerous smaller lakes providing gorgeous spots to picnic, explore or hike.
In addition to boating, you might enjoy water-skiing or windsurfing. The hot sun and warm lake water make any and all water sports, and swimming, just about ideal!
With around 200 lakes and rivers in the areas, fly fishing and still-water fishing are also popular pursuits.
