HIKING
The innumerable hikes, walks and strolls are far too many to mention. There is excellent hiking throughout the Okanagan for every level of fitness and determination. You can enjoy a gentle stroll by the lakeside, or get really serious about covering kilometres in the mountains.
The Kettle Valley route is an excellent venue for longer hikes, as well as day trips. There is also good hiking in Knox Mountain Park and Okanagan Mountain Park. Kalamoir Park and the Mission Creek Greenway are interesting areas. You’ve even got a gorgeous lakeside walkway right in downtown Kelowna.
You’ll find beauty mile after mile, but where ever you go, be sure to bring plenty of water. Here is a list of some of the trails that can be found in and around West Kelowna and Kelowna. They have been ranked from easy to difficult.
